I had a special bond with my nanny Connie, spending many holidays during my childhood in my nanny and grandad’s camper van touring Europe and the UK, we always felt a sense of freedom on those trips and I was spoilt with love and adventure.
Claire made my wedding jewellery 11 years ago and I have loved her work ever since, I’ve watched her grow and admired her desire to experiment with ideas and her passion for making bespoke handmade jewellery.
Sadly, my nanny passed away and I was fortunate enough to be gifted some money to treat myself, of course I asked Claire to make me a beautiful keepsake and she made a stunning silver charm bracelet with 2 gold rings and a swallow. The Swallow is the bird of freedom and good luck and the 2 gold rings symbolises a bond you share with others. I wear my bracelet every day, I love the feel of it and it’s a constant reminder of my lovely nanny who’ll always be in my heart.
