Jewellery holds a special place in my heart because each piece tells a story. My newest design, the Steady and True T-Bar Necklace, is no different. It’s a piece inspired by history, simplicity, and the steady balance of life’s meaningful connections.

The History of T-Bar Necklaces
The T-bar has been a classic design element for centuries, originally used in pocket watch chains in the 19th century. In the days before wristwatches, pocket watches were secured to waistcoats or jackets with chains, and the T-bar helped anchor the watch securely in place. Over time, the T-bar transitioned into jewellery, and it’s been admired for its elegant simplicity ever since.

T-bar necklaces are beloved for their versatility, whether worn as a statement piece or layered for a more delicate, everyday look. They carry with them a quiet strength, symbolising balance and connection, which is why I chose this design for my latest piece.

Crafting the Steady and True T-Bar Necklace
With the Steady and True T-Bar Necklace, I wanted to create something that resonates with the past while offering a timeless appeal. The original T-Bar is one which I know the history for. It was awedding day present from the bride to the groom, bought in a small antique shop. Much loved jewellery is really special and I wanted to give this piece which holds so much love, a new moment in the limelight. This necklace features a carefully balanced T-bar, symbolising those steady, grounding elements in life. Whether you wear it as a reminder of inner strength or as a piece that complements your style, it carries both beauty and meaning.
