During this workshop you will make your own hammered chunky bangle using sterling silver.
You will practise texturing some copper to get your favourite hammering finish. Under Claire's expert guidance you will then texture your silver and solder the bangle closed. Finally, you will work on sanding and filing it to get the perfect finish before giving it a good polish.
This workshop is for total beginners to silversmithing and soldering. If you are making it as a gift, then find out the size of the recipient’s wrist before you come. Bangles come in 3 sizes. Small (internal diameter of 6cms), medium (6.5 cms) and large (7cms). A bangle sizer will be available for you to try to ensure you get the right size.
I will bring all the tools you need and you will get lots of help to make the perfect bangle!
